A bit of a quiet period coming up, but it gives us a chance to
catch up on things.
We have just taken delivery of some new great new contemporary box frames &
acrylics to add to our range & have introduced a new package in conjunction
with our sister company Wren Wedding Car Hire.
We can now offer a combined package with photography & car hire for only £999.00

Next day 17th dawned bright & sunny for Paul & Nicola
whose wedding was held at Thorpe Arnold Church Melton Mowbray, & afterwards
enjoyed their reception with 65 guests at The Quorn Country Hotel. Nicola chose
an unusual colour mix for her bridesmaids to wear, really eye catching and gowns
they will definitely want to wear again.
Friday 16th saw the wedding of David & Jo at The
Loughborough Register Office with around 40 guests, those of you who know
Loughborough Register office will know the marriage room is not very big &
as such it was standing room only for the families & friends of David &
Jo, a few fluffs with the vows had us all giggling like school kids especially
Jo & the Registrar - Jim (& thinking about it kept us smiling all day).
They celebrated at The Navigation Barrow -upon -Soar & spent their honeymoon
in Singapore.
A busy weekend with a wedding on Friday 16th April & then another on Saturday 17th.
Back at Kilworth House Hotel for the wedding of David &
Sarah on 10th March, we were able to do the photographs outside & took
some shots inside too. 20 guests attended the wedding & everyone really
enjoyed themselves.
A quiet start to the New Year & our first wedding of 2010
is Terry & Michele on 6th March at The Quorn Grange Hotel. Michele looked
lovely in her low backed gown & I must say Terry looked very proud & so
he should. They celebrated with just 26 close family & friends & spent 3
weeks in Sri Lanka & The Maldives for their honeymoon - you lucky, lucky
people.

Well we hope you all had a good Christmas & Happy New Year, here we are in 2010, we can't believe it!

That's it for another year. We've had a brilliant one.
We're lucky to have had the privilege of working with great couples & in
doing so have met lots of really nice people.
Our thanks go to all of you for making our job such a pleasure. We're looking
forward to doing it all again next year

Ian & Julie wanted a wedding with a Christmas theme &
that's exactly what they got, well you would wouldn't you on 23rd December! The
ceremony & reception for 40 guests was at the Westfield House Hotel Blaby.
As the ceremony was at 4pm there was no opportunity to take photographs outside,
so we worked indoors, quite nice to be in the warm.
We are at The Belmont House Hotel again on 6th December for
the wedding of Jason & Amanda, & although a little cold weather wise we
were given a lovely warm welcome from both families.
o0o
How about this for coincidences. Both Jason & Amanda & Andrew & Emma had booked our wedding car, they both booked us to take their photographs, they both had their reception at the Belmont house Hotel, & both Grooms had been to school with our son (who owns the car).

The day after Craig & Lisa's wedding we had Andrew &
Emma's big day - 28th November, again another bright day but cold. It was a
little later in the day so we decided to do all the photographs around the
Church. Andrew & Emma chose St Anne's Church Sileby and held their reception
at The Belmont House Hotel. By the time we got to the reception it was DARK, but
thanks to the new camera we still managed to get a couple of photo's with the
car.

Craig & Lisa's wedding was on 27th November at Misterton
Church Lutterworth, & the reception was at Kilworth House Hotel, we were
worried what the weather might bring as it had been pretty poor the week before,
however the sun shone, and although the lawn area at Kilworth was a little too
soft to stand on we got some great pictures without Lisa getting her shoes
ruined.
Paul & Simone decided that less was more & had their
ceremony at The Leicester Register office in the Town Hall on 31st October -
Halloween hmmm... with 10 guests in attendance, followed by an intimate meal at
The Grey Lady Newtown Linford.
Steve & Joanne's wedding on Friday 2nd October went like a dream. The ceremony was held at St Bartholomew's Church Kirby Muxloe & their reception for 50 guests was at Prestwold Hall. The weather was a little iffy to begin with, but soon brightened up. Steve & Joanne really enjoyed their wedding & spent their honeymoon in Bali.
Bye for now - catch you all later...
As promised here are some of the images from recent events. First up is Susan & James.
Next we have Ellen & Nathan, that hummer was soooo cool just like the guys!
The last wedding in this set is Hannah & Ian.
Hi Us again, Well we have had a busy period.
Paul & Lisa who married in May came back with their album choice &
order for family & friends, it was so nice to see their big smiles again.
(some of their images are below this post).
Next we met up with Susan & James who do the deed on 22nd August at St
Peter's Church Glenfield. Then it was Ellen & Nathan, whose big day is 29th
August at Nailstone Church. After that we saw Hannah & Ian who marry the day
after Ellen & Nathan at the Quorn Grange Hotel. In between all these
weddings we have a portrait to do of a family. We'll post a few images of all
these events as and when they happen, so keep checking folks!
Paul & Lisa (see what we mean about the big smiles!)

Hi welcome to our blog. As we've only just started it & are new to blogging, we haven't too much to say, so please bear with us!
We had a lovely wedding on Friday 24th July 09. Our couple were Matt & Ellie. The wedding was held at St Peter's Church in Oadby, & the reception was at Rockingham Castle, Market Harborough. Although the weather was a bit iffy (in fact we had a bit of a downpour whilst in Church), the sun shone as they walked out. We did the group photographs & we must say many, many thanks to all the guests for their co-operation you were great! Matt & Ellie's families made us most welcome & Granddad looked fab in his cap.
We have just taken delivery of a new camera a Canon EOS5D MK2
so this was a good time to try it out in anger as it were.
It was wonderful!
So responsive & the images in the Church during the ceremony can only be
described as outstanding (given the difficult lighting conditions). St Peter's
Church is lovely, but a little on the dark side, especially on a dull day.
No more to say today, but please have a look a few of their images. Cheers for
now David & Georgina
